SYNOPSIS:
Fiddler on the Roof follows Tevye, a poor Jewish milkman in the 1905 Russian village of Anatevka. As the world changes, he struggles to maintain his faith and traditions while his three older daughters defy custom by choosing their own husbands—seeking love over tradition. Ultimately, the village is destroyed by anti-Jewish pogroms, forcing the community into exile.
